The Mayor

The Town Mayor is elected annually in May at the Annual Council Meeting by the Town Council. The Mayor is Chairman of Full Council meetings of the council, as well as attending civic and ceremonial functions, such as the Remembrance Sunday parade and Ledbury’s Civic Service. The Mayor also represents Ledbury at functions outside the town.

Mayoral Charities

Councillor Baker has two charities; the Kawasaki Support Group and the Madison Shelbie Trust.

Kawasaki syndrome is an acute illness usually see in children, most commonly under eight years of age.  It is an inflammatory process that can affect almost every system in the body. 

The Madison Shelbie Trust, is a local bereavement support charity which helps parents who have lost babies during pregnancy, at birth or shortly afterwards.
